About CBAr

The Brazilian Arbitration Committee (Comitê Brasileiro de Arbitragem - CBAr) is a non-profit organization that was established with the objective of promoting and disseminating legal studies in the areas of arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods, thereby providing opportunities for the understanding and discussion of the most important and current aspects of these sectors, which are very much in evidence these days.

The members of CBAr include some of the Country's most prestigious law firms, university professors, members of the public sector, and arbitration and academic institutions interested in the healthy development of this dispute resolution method.

To accomplish its objectives, CBAr publishes the quarterly Brazilian Arbitration Magazine (Revista Brasileira de Arbitragem), edited by IOB, and organizes congresses and seminars at the national and international level, aimed at the study and exchange of information about arbitration.
